Step-by-Step Procedure in Pedicuring

          Our feet needs the same care that is given to our hands. keeping well-groomed feet gives one good feeling that contributes to general well being.
          
          In giving pedicure service, everything used in manicuring needed plus a low stool for the operator.

For satisfactory result, the pedicure should be done the following steps:

1. Remove old nail polish with a piece of cotton, sponge the surface of the toenail with a downward, rotary movement.                                           >>>

<<<2. File the the toenail with a nail file or an emery board, starting from the little toenail, following the stroke from corner to center to prevent nail splitting.

3. Soften dead cuticle with a cuticle remover. >>> 

<<<4.  Push Back dead cuticle gently with  a pusher.

5. Trim the dead cuticle with a nipper and cut the cuticle in a single segment.                                                                  >>>

<<<6. Brush the toenails in a downward movement.

7. Dry the toenails with a towel.     >>>>

<<<8. Apply the base coat quickly, starting from the center of the nail and going towards the sides.

9. Apply Liquid nail polish.    >>>>

<<<10. Apply the top coat, following the same stroke in applying base and liquid polish.

11. Remove excess polish around the nail with a pusher tipped with a piece of cotton, dipped in acetone.                                               >>>>

 <<<<12. Finally, you have clean and relaxed toenails.

REFLECTION NO.1

Technology as connected to new knowledge, resources and high order thinking skills have affect classrooms and schools. Personal computers, online services, World Wide Web and other modern technologies have developed the study and change the type of teaching available in the classroom. Now a day, schools obtained technology has their growth and most of these new technologies used even in traditional classrooms. Because of the variations of learners, new discoveries of technology and plenty of teacher’s idea, modern teaching is one of the solutions to the worldwide demands for the excellence of education.

But there are disadvantages of using computer or technology in the life of every children or people, such as, you get used not to read books, or researching something at the library because of just a few clicks and you now have your answer that is why there is no retention happening. And also spending time playing online games over the computer instead of reading books and doing homework makes the child being lazy to study their lessons.

            Technology as applied to education makes wide changes that result different happening to the life of people. If we, as people who use computer, must think that computer is made to give development to us not to deteriorate our lives by using technology improperly.

 Course Description:

      The subject “Educational Technology II” is a three (3) unit course designed to introduce both traditional and innovative technologies to facilitate and foster meaning ful and effective learning. Students are expected to demonstrate a sound understanding of the nature, application and production of the various types of educational technologies.

     This course will likewise focus both on developing teacher support materials and the production of technology-based student outputs.

     The subject further provides learning experiences through creating teaching/visual aids that will help develop the learning clients’ teaching competence.

     Moreover, this course is designed to prepare the students in the selection, development, organization, and effective use of instructional materials. It involves the study of types, values, limitations and sources of instruction sheets and other teaching aids.

  Course Objectives:

1. To lend familiarization on how educational technology can be utilized as the media for the avenues teaching-learning process in the school.
2. To impart skills in planning, designing, using, and evaluating the technology-enriched teaching and learning process.
3. To provide education in the use of technology in instruction by providing knowledge and skills on technology integration-in-instruction to learners.
4. To impart learning experiences in instructional technology-supported instructional planning.
5. To acquaint students on information technology or IT-related learning theories with the computer as a tutor.
6. To engage learners on practical technology integration issues including IT classrooms, use of the internet for learning, cooperative learning through the use of information technology.

me and myself

       Hi., my name is Maribel Frias Santos, thirteen years of old. My family is living at Talipapa Caloocan city since I was born. I was on September 29 in the year of 1992. my loving parents are Marcelina Frias Santos and Fernando Ignacio Santos. They are the reason why im studying right now. and they also choose this coarse for as well as my dream to be a teacher someday. as you noticed me, im a silent person but there are times that i cheerfully laugh with my classmates and friends. I love to bond with my friends especially when it comes to have a movie watching at home. My friend said that i always want to gain the best from me, but that is not true because i always do my best to have good grades as well as to my family to be proud what ever i had. Friends always have a space in my heart that i why i can't argue with them always. 

       

         My family is not as perfect as i wanted. We always had problems to be fixed, actually almost everyday, but one thing I treasure most is the happy times whenever we stayed at our living room. why? because we dont have television to wacth for, so that we talked to each other and laugh with. We don't want to be stressed on the trials that passes to us so we laugh at it until it seems that were crazy people. Maybe people don't know how blessed we are. We are luck of money but it is that reason why we are so tight together. We give solutions together, we cry, we laugh and argued together but still it gives us strength to persue life. Im proud to have a family like like them. and also i treated my classmates as my family as well. why because we bond everyday, we give support to each other and we love how we give importance to what ever personality we have. My family and friends gives me happiness in life. 

         I'm an asthmatic person. that is why i dont have activities that causes me to be tired of. my parents always get angry with me because im not caring to my health. Thay always buy me medicines and yet i always get myself tired. I don't want to stock on the corner of a place just because i have illness. I want to explore life so that i dont have regrets in living this world. my classmates always advise me not to get busy always but i dont want to have a special treatment to other because just because of what i am. I want to be an ordinary teen that enjoys wherever they go. I always remember the time when my mother grilled me a lizard because oldies said that it can cure asthma. I eat the lizard because i want to be healthy. I eat that dirty lizard without hesitation. but at the end theres nothing happened. I'm still Maribel with asthma and i accept it. I just put in my mind that it is the blessing from God.
